The two artistes complement each other and feed off their unlimited energy. Even more surprising is the fact that Bon Iver and Taylor don't exactly look like the best combo on paper kind of like a Lebron James and Steph Curry combo but it came off amazing. Not going to lie, this track brought tears to my eye and it reminded me how beautiful a good pop duet should sound. Wow! I will give this song a rating of 10/10. It's a keeper and one of the best tracks of the year by a mile. As far as collaborative efforts go, this really exceeded my expectations as both artists speak about uncertainty and the need to take risks. The featured artiste here is owning the track and basically relegates Taylor to backing vocals at some point. Taylor sings so tender on this one and rides the beat as she experiences déjà vu on this track, she's seen this feeling before so she's leaving through the side door. Bon Iver's front man is crooning and we're loving it. It's a duet and shows so much promise from the first note and it paints such a mature and sonically beautiful picture. On this luscious track featuring Bon Iver she gets superstar help on this folk track. On exile Taylor goes in from the very first note. Mastered by Randy Merrill at Sterling Sound (New York, NY). Mixed by Jonathan Low at Long Pond (Hudson Valley, NY). It was recorded by Aaron Dessner and Jonathan Low at Long Pond (Hudson Valley, NY). The fourth track of Taylor's new album 'Folklore' was written by Taylor Swift, William Bowery & Justin Vernon. 'Cause you never gave a warning sign (never gave a warning sign) I couldn't turn things around (so many signs) I never learned to read your mind (so many signs) So many signs (you didn't even see the signs) 'Cause you never gave a warning sign (I gave so many signs) I couldn't turn things around (you never turned things around) I never learned to read your mind (never learned to read my mind) You never gave a warning sign (I gave so many signs) You didn't even hear me out (you didn't even hear me out) Like you'd get your knuckles bloody for me Holdin' all this love out here in the hall
